Famous Nevadans in wax museum at D.E.N.

Mrs. Walker’s 4th grade class at David E. Norman held a wax museum on Tuesday, March 14th.

Approximately 30 students picked famous Nevadans to study and present to family members that stopped into her classroom to meet them.

There was a nice variety of famous people from Nevada, from movie stars, outlaws to a First Lady.

It gave the students a chance to do research, compile their information into a document on Google docs and memorize their speech for the wax museum. This project gave students an opportunity to utilize various search engines and introduce them to the digital world.
