The Great Basin Service Club is again presenting the Christmas Crafters Festival on Saturday, December 2nd at the Bristlecone Convention Center.

Doors open to the public at 10 am.  Times for pictures and visiting with Santa will be posted in the Convention Center that morning.

The Christmas Parade has been changed to 12 noon and will follow the usual route, from Broadbent Park east to the Veterans Memorial Park (formerly the County Park). This year’s theme is “A Dickens Christmas”. Please insure that your entry follows the theme.  Only entries that follow the theme will be considered for an award.

Local crafters that would like to participate in the Crafters Festival are asked to contact Bunny Hill, Chairman at 296-0439 for an application. Only handcrafted items are allowed. For the past few years’ space has been limited to local crafters only.  A local crafter is one that resides within White Pine County 51% of the year. Local crafters have until November 21st to secure their space. After November 21st if there are spaces that have not been allocated then crafters from outside the county will be allowed space on a first come basis until full. Space is $30 for an 8 ft. table draped and skirted with two chairs. There is an additional $10 fee for each vendor that we must pay to the City of Ely.

For more information or an application contact Bunny Hill at 296-0439 or by email to
