Frank Thomas Sperry passed away January 28, 2018 in Nephi, Utah. He was born November 18, 1940 in Malta, Montana to Thomas H. and Nevada (Addoms) Sperry. He was raised in Great Falls, Montana and Ely, Nevada. He graduated from White Pine High School in 1959. Frank served honoraly in the United States Marine Corp between 1959 and 1963 and was a View Nam Veteran. He deeply loved his country and was very patriotic. He was an avid hunter and fly fisherman. During his years in Ely, he was a Jaycee, served as a commissioner on the White Pine County Commission, was a realtor, and a truck driver.

Frank was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in various Stake Presidencies, Bishoprics and Branch Presidencies.

Frank is survived by  his wife, Ruth and shared eight children; Tracy (Mike) Wellman of Las  Vegas, Tammie (Javier) Burneo of Las Vegas, Lora (Hermie) Romero of Ely, Bill (Elaine) Calderwood of Ely, Lisa (Danny) Ortega of Las Vegas, Tony (Mellisa) Whittaker of Ely, Andy (Nikki) Whittaker of Las Vegas, Amy (Jose) Noriega of Ely, and twenty-one grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, his brother, and three sisters.
