MICHAEL JAMES CURTIS: Guilty of murder in the second degree. Court orders life in prison with the possibility of parole after 10 years have been served. ROBERT J. RAMIREZ: Convicted of felon in possession of a firearm. Defendant violated his probation on Jan. 29, 2018 and that the defendant was present in the drive-thru window and was harrassing and threatening an employee. Probation was revoked and imposes the original sentence, 141 days credit for time served. Defendant is remanded into custody. Judge Steve L. Dobrescu presiding


March 2, 2018

NIKKI LEIGH JONES: Guilty to the charge(s) of Count 1: Domestic Battery with one prior conviction. Defendant ordered to pay $500, plu $120 Administrative Assessment fee, plus $10 Facility Assessment fee, plus $7 Specialty Court Program fee, plus $3 Genetic Marker Analysis Administrative Assessment fee, plus $35 for the Domestic Violence Administrative fee. Defendant was ordered to serve 10 days in the White Pine County jail and is given credit for 8 days previously served. Defendant was ordered to perform 100 hours of Community Service Work and complete one year counseling through a Nevada approved provider or Anger Management counseling through a court approved provider for the minimum of 1-1/2 hours per week for 12 months.  Municipal Honorable  Judge Michael Coster presiding.
