See early White Pine Saloon/Merchant Tokens, early Ely Stage Coach tickets, early Ely Merchant letters; early W.N. McGill letter to Taylor Mine (Ca. 1886), Ely Diary artifacts, extremely rare early 1900’s Ely “University Club” token, L.H. Murdock merchant items, and more.

New special temporary on loan display, antique Asian/Malaysian artifacts. 15th century to early 20th century. Chinese Qing Dynasty Military officer “Eagle claw” combat gloves, a century old Sumatran Ritual hand cared authentic Monkey Skull, Chinese hand carved Ox Bone Opium Pipes, Chinese hand carved Jade Opium bottles, Asian Ship Wreck artifacts, antique Asian Medicine bottles, and more.

Friday, May 11, Craig Hoover, local Ely resident and collector will have a presentation on the Beginning Basics of Collecting: Coins, Trade/Saloon Tokens, Postage Stamps and Paper money.

Limit of 30 people, sign up list available at museum. Cost is $5 per adult, children under 12 free from 6:00-8:00 p.m. White Pine Museum members free (must present membership card).

All proceeds from the presentation will be given to White Pine Museum for building repair and upkeep.

Saturday, May 12 from Noon to 3:00 p.m. a presentation on arrowhead and projectile point snapping demonstration and talk by Brian Flynn, BLM archeologist will be at the White Pine Museum. Cost is $5 museum entrance fee for adults, children under 12 free. Museum members free (must provide membership card).
