It was a warm night, stars were twinkling brightly in the sky, a warm breeze rustling through the trees. A wish of peace sent to God, like many nights before. This night June 13, 2018 our wish was heard and answered. Lowell Dale (LD) Hall 69 passed away peacefully after an 11 month journey with Glioblastoma. He was at home in McGill surrounded by love, comfort, the grace of God and his family.
On December 13, 1948 in Hot Springs Ark a beautiful soul was born to Nathan Ran and Winifred Dale (Young) Hall. They would decide to name this child Lowell Dale Hall. Interestingly Lowell in English means Dearly loved. He was dearly loved by his family and close friends. He would grow up to be an honorable, kind hearted man, who came to the aid of anyone in need. After many ups and downs LD decided to leave Hot Springs and travel the country tending to race horses. In 1970 he came to Lawrence MA where he meet Linda Marie Fecteau. They married in 1972 and started a family. Lowell worked many years at Reichhold Chemical in Andover, MA as an operator. In 1992 he graduated from ITT Tech with an Associate degree in Electronic Repair. In 2000 he moved to Ely, NV to be close to his daughter and grandchildren. LD did lots of odd jobs around town for many people, worked at KOA for several years and at Sunset Lanes as a mechanic. He bowled on the Seniors league where he loved to cook for all his fellow bowlers and spent much time chatting with them and trying to bowl the perfect game. He also bowled on the Friday night league with lots of wonderful people whom he regarded highly.
My hero, my rock, my dad was a man like no other. He gave so much to this world and never asked for anything in return. He lived life to the fullest and made the best out of every situation. He lead by example, taught what he knew and always meant what he said. He always said “Actions speak louder than words” and that is what he did every day. His words never betrayed his actions.
Lowell is preceded in death by his beloved son Dana Dale Hall, father Nathan Ran Hall, mother Winifred Dale Young, and sister Tessie Hall.
Lowell is survived by his daughter Danielle (Kyle) Hall Jensen, grandchildren Denim, Kayla and Konner. great grandchild Marshal. sisters Patricia Clawson and Betty McDougal. brother John (Maryann) Hall, ex-Wife Linda (Hank) Beede. Many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Lowell did not want any services. We will hold a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
