Sharon Oxborrow Nicholes, 80 years, passed away July 15, 2018 in Reno, Nevada. She was welcomed with open arms by family members and by a loving Heavenly Father.
Sharon was born January 26, 1938 to Frank Oxborrow and Alta Mae Peacock. She Married David Reed Nicholes on July 30, 1955, he proceded her in death on Nov. 28, 1978.
Sharon is Survived by husband Gary Leutzinger, sons – Stanley (Alice) Nicholes, McGill, NV; Glen Nicholes, North Windham, CT; Terry Nicholes, Minot, ND; stepson – Alex Leutzinger, Sparks, NV. Sister – Jan (Roland) Sebastian, Burbank, CA; Grandchildren: Sheldon (Christina) Nicholes, Ely, NV; Shauna Nicholes, McGill, NV; Travis (Tianna) Nicholes, Kearns, UT, Trista Nicholes, Murray, UT, Glen (Allison) Nicholes, JR., Columbia, CT; Lucas (Marianne) Nicholes, Boise, ID; Samatha (Jon) Howard, Henderson, NV; Brian (Nichole) Nicholes, Minot, ND, Darrin (Kacy) Nicholes, Wilton, ND, Kyle Leutzinger, Sparks, NV and Mia Leutzinger, Sparks, NV. 23 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Frank & Alta Oxborrow, first husband David Reed Nicholes, brothers Elmo and Frank Oxborrow and 2 grandchildren Shastta and Timothy Nicholes.
Sharon loved working hard for her family as a longtime cook and business women. Her hobbies were knitting sweaters and afghans for all her family members. She also loved to watch all the “OLD Westerns”.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Ely City Cemetery.
I worked with Sharon during my teenage years at B&J restaurant in the late sixties. She was the sweetest lady and always made me laugh it was so kind to me and taught me so much I’m sure heavenly father is waiting for her with open arms. I have wonderful thoughts of I am sending prayers for the famil. she was a fantastic woman
I also worked with Sharon at the B&J Restaurant. She was an inspiration to each of us, and she loved her opportunity to help each of us grow and work hard. Prayers and thoughts go out to her family during this tender time.
