In an effort to encourage our adult students to apply themselves to earn their diploma, Steptoe Valley Adult High School started our new adult hours on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018.

SVHS Staff have agreed to take turns working an alternative schedule so that the school will be open for any enrolled adult that needs help with lessons or just need the use of the school computers during non-regular school hours.

Currently there are 10 adults enrolled – if you are in need of help and/or want to enroll, please stop by the school with a picture ID and complete an enrollment form. The adult school hours will be alternating weeks – every other Wednesday and every other Monday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and every Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for the month of September. The next date that the school will be open for adults will be on Wednesday 9/19/18 and then the following Monday and so on. Please be aware that the HSE (HiSET) testing is still being transitioned and is not yet available. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you have any questions, please feel free to stop by the school or call the school at 775-289-2999.
