REPORT OF A SEX CRIME: Based on the investigation, 24 year old Ely resident Francisco Javier Rosales was arrested for sexual assault.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: The parties claimed they had just been arguing.

REPORT OF A BURGLARY: The reporting party returned home from a trip and discovered someone had broken into his home and stole property. The investigation continues.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK: The subjects were located and were fine.

REPORT OF PROPERTY DAMAGE

City – the reporting party discovered the back window of his daughter’s vehicle had been broken. A report was completed.

REPORT OF AN ALARM: City – the building was checked and found to be secure.

REPORT OF AN INTOXICATED SUBJECT: City a male subject was located in a public place and found to be too intoxicated to care for himself. He was taken into civil protective custody.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: City – deputies responded to a 911 hangup and discovered a couple that had been fighting. They later arrested a male, identified as 65 year old Ely resident Wade Collins for battering his girlfriend.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT: City – the subject wasn’t located.

REPORT OF AN ACCIDENT: Emily Willard, of Ely, lost control of her vehicle due to icy conditions, which caused it to slide off the road and overturn. A report was completed.

REPORT OF A BURGLARY: City – the reporting party came home to discover someone had broken in and stolen some tools. The investigation continues.

REPORT OF A MISSING JUVENILE

The juvenile was located at a nearby residence.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT: The reporting party claimed to be having issues with her boyfriend. She was advised of how to obtain a protection order.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT: City – two roommates were arguing over shared property. They agreed to work out their differences in a civil manner.

REPORT OF FRAUD: City – the reporting party claimed an unknown subject had withdrawn money from his account. A report was completed and the bank was contacted.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: City – the vehicle was gone when the deputy arrived.

The area was checked, but the deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.

REPORT OF A PRIVATE PROPERTY ACCIDENT: City – Judy Baker, of Lund, forgot to put her vehicle in park and it rolled forward, striking a parked vehicle in the parking lot. A report was completed.

REPORT OF AN ACCIDENT: The driver, a minor, lost control on the icy roadway and struck a parked car. A report was completed.

REPORT OF A THEFT: City – the reporting party claimed property was stolen from his vehicle. A report was completed.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City a deputy conducted a traffic stop and later arrested the driver for DUI. He was identified as 46 year old Ely resident Jerry Felix.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City – Candice Felix, 39, of Ely, was arrested after repeatedly calling the Sheriff’s Office and threatening to kill the dispatcher because she couldn’t talk to her husband who had recently been arrested.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City – a deputy conducted a traffic stop and spoke to the driver, identified as 37 year old Kristy Gepford, of Ely. She was later arrested for DUI.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City – a deputy conducted a traffic stop and spoke to the driver, identified as 23 year old Jake Nichols of Ely. He was later arrested for DUI.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: Deputies arrived and determined Judy Valdez,45, of Ely, had battered a family member. She also resisted arrest.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: A deputy stopped a vehicle for speeding and spoke to the driver, identified as 33 year old Amy Mendibles, of California. She was found to have a warrant for her arrest. After being arrested, she was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and controlled substances.
