Thomas “Tommy” Armor Graham, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on February 4, 2019, in Las Vegas, Nevada, after a short battle with complications of Down Syndrome. Tommy was born in Steubenville, Ohio to Mary Ione O’Brien Michael and Armor Keith Graham on June 21, 1953. He moved to Norwalk, California in 1958 and then to Preston, Nevada in 2011.
Tommy worked at “ARC” for mentally disabled/handicapped citizens in Downey, California for approximately 40 years. He was on the same bowling league for approximately 40 years as well.
Tommy enjoyed bowling, dancing, music; especially Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley, along with church worship music. Tommy also enjoyed watching wrestling and football, but most of all enjoyed watching the Lund Lady Mustang volleyball and basketball teams play in Lund, Nevada. He loved shaking hands, waving “Hi’ to everyone and getting as many hugs as he could. He made friends everywhere he went, both real and imaginary ones. Tommy was considered nonverbal, but words that came out very clear were; Mother, Daddy, church, go home, ice cream, cookies, party, dance, and cake. He would not acknowledge the word “No”, he would just respond, “later?” or “wait?”. His favorite movies were, “Batman” and “Spiderman” .
