Special to The Ely Times

White Pine County resident Jason Bath has a great appreciation for the beauties of White Pine County.

Currently on display at the White Pine Public Museum is the stunning and majestic photography of Bath. Stop by and see a wide range of landscapes and cityscapes, day and night photography, color and black and white. You name it and Bath has masterfully achieved that technique.

Bath began experimenting with photography when he was just a teen. He entered a few photos in the county fair and earned grand championship recognition.

After being away from Ely for five years, Bath returning to White Pine County with a renewed passions and drive to bring awareness to the beauties of nature that can be found locally.

He said, “My biggest inspiration to some of my work is to encourage others to get out and explore what this beautiful community has to offer”.

Bath claims that his photography is just a hobby.  However, from the sales of hundreds of his canvas prints through the years, Jason has generously donates money for charity events, school functions, raffles, fund raising to aid with personal and family tragedies in our community and putting on live concerts at no cost to our county residents and visitors.

Bath recently signed a contract with a band called Elvis Monroe, which will be performing out at Cave Lake this summer on Friday, July 5.

Bath’s talent and artistic eye looking through a camera lens have certainly been an asset to White Pine County, and his commitment to bringing appreciation to our area.

He said, “I hope that you get out and explore new areas and find joy in seeing things through a lens.”
