Traffic Incident Management courses being offered throughout Northeastern Nevada.
Classes will be in Winnemucca, Elko, Wendover, Eureka and Ely.
Courses are 4 hours long and are scheduled in the morning and the afternoon (8am-12 or 1-5pm). In some areas, this class has not been offered for several years.
This is an excellent course for all emergency responders (law enforcement, fire, ambulance/helicopter, Forest Service, BLM, Tribal, public works (city and county), NDOT, tow companies, dispatchers, mine safety and rescue, hospitals, highway construction contractors, and any entities that may be involved in public safety. It is a nationally recognized course that all responders should take.
The course is intended to provide participating first responders the knowledge and materials necessary for cleaning critical incidents as quickly as possible and reducing secondary crashes. Scene safety, communication and relationship building will be emphasized in a multi-agency training approach with highly qualified instructors.
If you have not taken this course, or want a refresher, it is highly recommended for all responders to attend.
