APRIL 11 

REPORT OF A PROWLER: The area was checked, but nothing suspicious was located.

REPORT OF A FIGHT: City – when officers arrived, the two people fighting had stopped.  One of them was identified as 34 year old McGill resident Devin Hutchison.  He was later arrested for violating his probation.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City – 28 year old Jade Johnson was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK: City – the subject was located and was fine.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT: The subject was gone when deputies arrived.

REPORT OF A DISTURBANCE: City – the reporting party complained about a neighbor playing music.  The neighbor turned down the music.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City – 28 year old Ely resident Joseph Opipari was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

REPORT OF AN ACCIDENT: City – Michelle Hallett made an unsafe lane change striking Hal Hollingsworth, of McGill.  Hallett was issued a citation.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: City – the parties were contacted and claimed they were only arguing.

REPORT OF FRAUD: The reporting party gave her personal information to a person claiming to be from a lending company.  A report was completed.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City – during the course of an investigation, 31 year old Utah resident Joseph Pitt, interfered with the investigation and disturbed the peace.  He was arrested without incident.

APRIL 12 

REPORT OF INJURY TO PROPERTY: City – deputies responded to a local motel and discovered a male subject had used force to enter into one of the rooms and battered one of the occupants.  The male, identified as 23 year old Utah resident Justin Sholberg, was arrested for burglary, battery, and injury to property.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: 56 year old Sherilyn Hollingsworth, of Washington, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT: The reporting party complained about the neighbor’s children playing by her car.  The children were spoken to and advised not to play by the car.

REPORT OF A CUSTODY ISSUE: City – the subjects were advised to handle the problem through their attorneys and court.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City – a traffic stop was conducted and the driver, identified as 30 year old Ely resident Joshua Ross, was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

APRIL 13 

REPORT OF A SHOPLIFTER: City – a person was observed taking an item without paying for it on video at a local store.  The investigation continues.

REPORT OF A BURGLARY: The reporting party discovered an unknown person broke into her father’s home and stole several items.  The investigation continues.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: The parties had only been arguing and agreed to separate for the day.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK: City – the subject was contacted and claimed to be fine.

APRIL 14 

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT: The area was checked, but no one was located.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT: City – the subject, who threw a tantrum at a local store over a recently purchased device, was located and advised not to return to the store.

REPORT OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE: The offending party was given ten days to clean up their yard.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: Based on the investigation, Emily Edmonds, age 35 from Ruth, was determined to have used force against a person who was over the age of 60.  Edmonds was arrested without incident.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: City – deputies responded and both parties claimed to have only been arguing.  During the course of the investigation, it was learned one of the parties involved was 39 year old Ely resident Ernesto Perez. Deputies also discovered he is a convicted felon and had constructive possession of a firearm.  Perez was arrested without incident. REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT:City – the area was checked, but the subject was gone. New Bookings: Emily Edmonds / Elder abuse / Bail $10,000 Ernesto Alonso Perez / Ex-felon in possession of a firearm / Bail $20,000
