REPORT OF THEFT: A landlord claimed a previous tenant stole furniture when moving out.  The tenant returned the furniture.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: Deputies discovered the incident involved parents and a son arguing with each other.

REPORT OF THREATS: All concerning parties were contacted and it was found that it was a mis-communication.

REPORT OF AN ALARM: City – the building was checked and found to be secure.

REPORT OF A DISTURBANCE: City – the offending party was contacted and advised to keep the noise down. No new bookings.

APRIL 18 

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: City – the parties were contacted and it was only verbal in nature.

REPORT OF A TRUANCY: City -a student was deemed a habitual truant and was issued a citation.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK: The subject was contacted and was fine.

REPORT OF HARASSMENT: City – the reporting party claims to being harassed via the internet.  The incident was documented.

REPORT OF A WARRANT: City – Barry Francis, 40, of Ely, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT: City – the subjected was located and left without incident.

REPORT OF A PRIVATE PROPERTY ACCIDENT: City – Cody Whipple was backing from a parked position and struck a fire hydrant.  A report was completed.

REPORT OF SUSPICIOUS SUBJECTS: City – the subjects were gone when officers arrived.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City – a deputy conducted a traffic stop and later arrested the driver, identified as 27 year old Ely resident Raymond Martin.  He was arrested for reckless driving and DUI drugs.

APRIL 19 

REPORT OF A BATTERY: City – two subjects reportedly got into a fight.  Neither party wanted to pursue charges.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: City – the operator was waiting for a business to open.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: City- the vehicle was checked and appeared okay.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT: The subject was located and was waiting for a ride.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: During a traffic stop, Robert Stanton, 51, of Elko, was arrested for speeding, suspended registration, and an open container.  The passenger, identified as 38 year old Cody Kusener, of Spring Creek, was arrested for having an open container and possession of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol.

APRIL 20 

REPORT OF A JUVENILE PROBLEM: The juvenile was located and released to his guardian.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT: The subject left when law enforcement arrived.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: City – a deputy observed a couple arguing.  Contact was made and they claimed everything was okay.
