REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK City — the individual was contacted who stated that he was ill. He requested no assistance.

REPORT OF A TRUANCY: City — the student was issued a citation for truancy and a report was sent to Juvenile Probation.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK The individual was contacted and she stated that she was fine. No other problems were reported.

REPORT OF A TRESPASSER: Reporting party stated that he wanted and indidvual removed from his property. The individual was contacted and advised to leave the area. He complied.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT: Reporting party stated that she is separated from her soon to be ex-husbanded and that she has moved out of their home. The ex-husband is allowing another person to live at his home and that person has changed the locks. The reporting party wanted to obtain her property from the home. She was advised to contact the person now living there and make arraignments to obtain her property.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: Officer located the vehicle and spoke to the operator. He was advised not to park on private property.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT: City — officer received a report of several people living in a camp trailer. The area the trailer was located at was not zoned for it to be there. The occupants were contacted and advised.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT: Reporting party stated that an individual had parked his vehicle in front of a shed he needed access to. The incident was documented.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK: Officer reported that the individual was contacted and he was fine.

REPORT OF HARASSMENT: City — reporting party stated that her neighbor is continually disturbing her peace, breaking things that belong to her, and yelling profanities at her. Officer contacted the neighbor and he was issued a citation for harassment.

REPORT OF A JUVENILE PROBLEM: City — officer contacted several juveniles who had climbed onto the roof of a local business. They were advised to leave the area and to stay away from the property.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT: City — reporting party stated that she was contacted by an old friend and they have been speaking on the phone. The reporting party now wants the contact to stop. The reporting party was advised to block the person’s number on her phone and to discontinue any contact.

REPORT OF A DOG AT LARGE: The dog was captured and taken to the Dog Pound.

REPORT OF A TRAFFIC HAZARD: Officer received a report of a county road that was being washed out due to spring runoff. The County Road Department was notified.

REPORT OF A CIVIL PROBLEM: City — reporting party stated that someone had removed some campaign signs from a home he is trying to sell. Officer contacted the realtor who is contracted to sell the property and she had removed them. The relator had removed them due to another vested person who holds interest in the property gave her permission to do so. The individuals involved were advised it was a civil problem.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT: City — reporting party stated that she is receiving unwanted text messages from an individual. The person sending the messages was contacted and advised to stop his contact with the reporting party.

REPORT OF AN ALARM: City — false alarm.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: City — officer contacted the parties involved who stated that they had been involved in a verbal argument. The parties agreed to separate for the night.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City — officer reported that during a traffic stop on a vehicle the operator was identified as Jimenez E. Samaniego age 20 of Wenatchee, WA. During the officers investigation Samaniego was arrested for DUI, use of a controlled substance, and driving suspended.

REPORT OF A FIGHT: City — officer contacted the parties involved who were engaged in a verbal argument. The parties were advised to separate and leave the area. They complied.

REPORT OF A DOG AT LARGE: City — the dog was captured and taken to the Ely Dog Pound.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT: City — reporting party stated that someone had stolen her dogs. Officer spoke to the person and reported that no crime had occurred. The reporting party was having difficulty remembering things that had taken place in her past.

REPORT OF A TRESPASSER: Reporting party stated that an individual had returned to his property after he had trespassed him from the premises. The indidvual was contacted and issued a citation for trespassing.

REPORT OF A MOTORCYCLE DISTURBANCE

Officer contacted the individuals riding the motorcycles. They were advised to leave the area and ride somewhere else, not to disturb the public.

City — the individual was contacted who stated that she was fine.

City — false alarm.

REPORT OF AN ABANDONED VEHICLE

Officer located the vehicle which was parked in the roadway with a flat tire. The operator of the vehicle was not located. Due to the vehicle being a traffic hazard it was removed from the roadway.

REPORT OF A TRESPASSER

Officer received a report of an individual trespassing on railroad property. The individuals were contacted who were walking their dog. They were advised to leave the area. They complied.

REPORT OF AN ATV DISTURBANCE

City — officer contacted the juveniles riding the ATV. They were advised not to ride on the city streets.

REPORT OF AN ATTEMPTED FORGERY

City — reporting party stated that an individual attempted to pay for merchandise with a counterfeit bill. The reporting party wouldn’t accept the bill and the individual fled the area. The area was patrolled, but the person was not located.

REPORT OF A JUVENILE PROBLEM

City — officer contacted the juveniles and advised that they were not allowed to play in the area, due to public safety concerns. The juveniles left the area.

REPORT OF AN UNATTENDED DOG

City — the area was patrolled, but the dog was not located.

REPORT OF A FIRE

City — officer contacted the person who had a small fire going to roast marshmallows. No problems were located.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE

City — officer received a report of an indidvual who had been battered by her boyfriend. Officer contacted the person who denied the allegation. The individual was evasive and would not provide information to the deputy investigating the incident. A report was completed.

REPORT OF AN ARREST

City — officer reported that during a traffic stop the operator of the vehicle was identified as Samantha J. Tedesco age 32 of Ruth, NV. During the officers investigation Tedesco was arrested for DUI.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC BATTERY

City — officer received a report of a domestic battery that had taken place. During the officers investigation Robert E. Debell age 45 of Ely was arrested. Debell was arrested for domestic battery. He is accused of battering his spouse.

REPORT OF A THEFT

City — reporting party stated that someone was removing items that had been donated to the thrift store. The area was patrolled, but the person was not located.

REPORT OF A THEFT

City — reporting party stated that two females came into her place of employment at a local restaurant. They order food, ate the food then left without paying. The females were located and issued citations for defrauding an innkeeper.

City — the owner of the vehicle was contacted and the vehicle was removed.

City — officer received a report of an intoxicated person asleep and laying in a flower garden. The individual was contacted and advised to leave the area. He complied.

REPORT OF A VEHICLE PROBLEM

Officer received a report of a semi-truck that was blocking a travel lane. Officer contacted a local tow company who assisted in removing the disabled vehicle.

REPORT OF AN ARREST

City — officer reported that during a traffic stop on a vehicle the operator was identified as Keegan Blakeley age 33 of McGill. During the officers investigation Blakeley was arrested for DUI, use of a controlled substance, driving on right side required, and possession of a controlled substance.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT

City — the area was patrolled, but the person was not located.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT

City — officer received a report of an individual who was causing a disturbance at a local restaurant. Officer contacted the person and identified him as Joseph E. Creaghe age 33 of Ely. Creaghe was arrested for disturbing the peace and trespassing.

REPORT OF A PRIVATE PROPERTY ACCIDENT

Thad Spear of Ely was operating a vehicle and was backing up. He failed to see a vehicle parked behind him belonging to Justin Spear of Ruth. Spear’s vehicle collided with Spear’s vehicle causing damage. An accident report was completed.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK

City — the individual was contacted and she was fine.

REPORT OF AN ATTEMPTED FRAUD

City — reporting party stated that she received a phone call at her place of employment. The caller requested credit card and other verifying information. The reporting party refused to provide the information. The incident was documented.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE

City — officer contacted the individuals involved who both indicated it was a verbal argument. During the officers investigation Mark S. Repp Jr age 30 of Ely was arrested for violation of a protective order.

REPORT OF A CUSTODY PROBLEM

Officer received a report of several individuals who were arguing over the custody of a child. Officer spoke to the parties involved and the situation was resolved.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT

City — reporting party stated that her Landlord walked into her home without her permission. The reporting party wanted the incident documented. A report was completed.

Reporting party stated that she didn’t want an individual hanging around her daughter. The reporting party was advised due to her daughter being an adult the request would have to come from the daughter. The incident was documented.
