On Friday, June 14, and Saturday, June 15, Senator Kamala Harris will return to Nevada to hold campaign events and meet with voters. On Friday, Harris will hold a women’s meet and greet and celebrate the advances made by the 2019 Emerge Nevada class, and then speak at the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. 33rd Annual Conference in Las Vegas.
On Saturday, Harris will hold an organizing rally in North Las Vegas. Members of the public are invited to join the rally and hear the Senator’s vision for Nevada families.
Harris will continue to highlight her proposal to increase the average pay for a Nevada teacher by $15,000 in order to fully close the pay gap between teachers and comparable professionals. She will also discuss her plan to take bold executive actions to combat gun violence and highlight her recent equal pay proposal which would increase the median annual pay for a woman in Nevada by up to $2,704 per year.
