JUNE 13

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City – 40 year old William Hagedorn, of Ely, was arrested for driving without a valid license.

REPORT OF AN ACCIDENT: City – Pedro Orozco-Zambrano, of California, was stopped in a merge lane when he was rear-ended by Laurie Carson, of Ely.  A report was completed.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK: The subject was located and claimed to be fine.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK: The subject was located and she claimed that she was fine.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City – a deputy conducted a traffic stop and spoke to the driver, identified as 58 year old Ely resident Charlett Lee.  She was later arrested for DUI.

JUNE 14 

REPORT OF AN ARREST: A deputy conducted a traffic stop and spoke to the driver, identified as 60 year old Barbara Vaughan, of Arizona.  She was later arrested for DUI.

REPORT OF A THEFT: City – the reporting party claimed someone stole property from him.  The investigation continues.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISPUTE: City – the deputies arrived and discovered the parties had already separated. A male was late located, who had been involved in the domestic.  He was identified as 31 year old Levie Bullock, of Boise.  He is a convicted felon and was found to be in possession of a stun gun.  He was arrested without incident.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK: The subject was located and was fine.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: City 0 the subjects were contacted and both claimed to have only been arguing.  They separated for the night.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: Darcy Johner, 35, of Ely, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT: City – a local establishment claimed a male subject was refusing to leave.  The subject was escorted of off the property and trespassed.

REPORT OF A FIGHT: When deputies arrived, they discovered there was no fight occurring, just a misunderstanding.

JUNE 15 

REPORT OF A THEFT: The reporting party claimed someone stole money from their residence.  A report was completed.

REPORT OF A JUVENILE PROBLEM: The reporting party claimed several juveniles were trespassing on someone’s property.  They were contacted and advised to stay off of property that wasn’t theirs.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISPUTE: City – the parties were contacted and it was an argument between a juvenile and his guardian.

REPORT OF A PRIVATE PROPERTY ACCIDENT: City – Shannon Casarez, of Ely, was backing from a parking spot in a private parking lot, and struck a parked vehicle.  A report was completed.

JUNE 16 

REPORT OF AN INTOXICATED SUBJECT: City – the subject was located and escorted to his motel room.

REPORT OF A MUSIC DISTURBANCE: City – the subject was contacted and advised to keep his music down.

REPORT OF AN ALARM: City – the alarm was set off accidentally by an employee.

REPORT OF VANDALISM: City – upon returning home from vacation, the reporting party discovered someone had vandalized her home.  A report was completed.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT: The reporting party got into a heated argument with a neighbor about property.  Both parties were separated and the incident was documented.

REPORT OF A THEFT: City – a male subject shoplifted an item from a local store.  When confronted, the male fled the area.  The investigation continues.

JUNE 17 

REPORT OF AN ALARM: City – the residence was checked and found to be secure.

REPORT OF THREATS: City – the reporting party claimed to have received a threat from an acquaintance.  She was advised to block the subject and contact law enforcement if it happened again.

REPORT OF THREATS: The reporting party claimed a neighbor made threats against him.  The neighbor was contacted and advised to stop his current behavior.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISPUTE: City – the parties were contacted and both claimed it was only verbal in nature.  Both parties separated for the day.

REPORT OF A NON-INJURY ACCIDENT: Jorge Astaburuaga-Gonzalez, of Nevada, was stopped at a stop sign when he was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Alex Gledhill, of Nevada.  Gledhill was issued a citation.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City – Efrem David Crozier, 49, of Ely, hailed a deputy and then became aggressive towards him, using loud and tumultuous language.  Crozier was later arrested for disturbing the peace and obstructing a peace officer and resisting arrest.
