JUNE 18

REPORT OF A DISTURBANCE: City – a couple was arguing about property after they broke up.  They were advised to handle it civilly.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT: City – a local motel complained about a tenant causing a disturbance.  The tenant was trespassed and left without incident.

REPORT OF A PRIVATE PROPERTY ACCIDENT: City – James Hollingsworth, of Ely, was backing from a parked position and struck another vehicle being operated by Ken Kliewer, also of Ely.

REPORT OF A PRIVATE PROPERTY ACCIDENT: City – Valerie Hutcherson, of Ely, was backing from a parked position and struck Travis Redman, of South Lake Tahoe.  A report was completed.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISPUTE: City – the parties were contacted and claimed to have only been arguing.  They separated for the night.

REPORT OF A FIGHT: Several juveniles were trying to instigate a fight with another person.  All parties were advised to stay away from each other.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: City – the parties were contacted and claimed to have just been arguing.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT: The subject was not located.

REPORT OF A BATTERY: Two roommates got into an argument and one pushed the other.  The investigation continues.

REPORT OF A PRIVATE PROPERTY ACCIDENT: Braxton Crepeau, of Ely, was backing from a parked position in a parking lot and struck a vehicle operated by Misty Steiner.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT: The subject wasn’t located.

REPORT OF AN ACCIDENT: City – Dustin Faris, of Ely, was driving when his trailing unit became unhooked and struck a fence.  A report was completed.

REPORT OF AN ACCIDENT: City – Billie Sue Heckethorn, of Ely, was backing from a parked position when she struck a passing vehicle operated by Barbara Hamilton, of Arizona.  A report was completed.

REPORT OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE: The suspect was contacted and advised to clean her yard.

REPORT OF A THEFT: A local business reported a theft.  The investigation continues.

REPORT OF VANDALISM: City – the reporting party discovered someone had broken a window on his vehicle.  A report was completed.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISPUTE: City – the reporting party claimed to have observed a male punching a female as they drove by her.  The vehicle wasn’t located.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK: City – the subject was located and claimed to be okay.

REPORT OF A POSSIBLE INTOXICATED DRIVER: City – deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

REPORT OF FRAUD: City – the reporting party claimed to have received counterfeit money at her workplace.  The investigation continues.

REPORT OF A SHOPLIFTER: City – 31 year old Ely resident Jordan Edmo was discovered to have shoplifted from a local business.  It was also found that he later used force against another person and committed another larceny.  He was later taken into custody.

 

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISPUTE: City – two roommates were discovered to have been arguing.  They agreed to separate for the day.

REPORT OF A THEFT: It was discovered the reporting party had just misplaced the property.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City – 30 year old Ely resident Richard Nicholas Berrocal was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK: City – the subject wasn’t located.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Contact was made with the couple, who had only been arguing.

REPORT OF AN INTOXICATED DRIVER: The vehicle was located and the driver was contacted, identified as 35 year old Gerardo Gonzalez-Flores, of Ely.  He was later arrested for having an open container.

REPORT OF A FIGHT: City – both parties were separated when deputies arrived and neither wished to pursue charges against the other.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK: City – the subjects were contacted and claimed to be okay.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: The vehicle was not located.

REPORT OF AN ALARM: City – the building was checked and no one was found inside.  Deputies secured the building.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: It was discovered that the couple had only been arguing.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City – 26 year old Las Vegas resident Laquania Wentland was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

REPORT OF THREATS: City – the reporting party claimed a male made threats to him via text message.  The suspect was contacted and advised not to make threats.

REPORT OF CHILD ABUSE: City – the incident was investigated and determined to be discipline, and not abuse.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK: The subject was located and claimed to be fine.

REPORT OF A TRESPASS: City – an employee of a local store requested a customer be trespassed.  The customer left prior to the deputy arriving.

REPORT OF A FATAL INJURY ACCIDENT:  Leonard McCament passed away due to injuries sustained in an accident.

REPORT OF A THEFT: The reporting party claimed a subject, known to her, entered a building she owns and took property.  The investigation continues.

REPORT OF A SUSICIDE ATTEMPT: City – the subject was contacted and later transported to the hospital for evaluation.

REPORT OF A THEFT: City – the theft was unfounded.

REPORT OF A FIGHT: Both parties had separated prior to the deputies arriving.
