OCTOBER 23

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT: The subject was gone when deputies arrived.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: Sharon Jones, 54, of Ely, was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: The parties were contacted and claimed to have only been arguing.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK: City – the subject was located and was fine.

REPORT OF FRAUD: City – the reporting party claimed a customer had refused to pay for a motel room which had been rented to him.  The suspect was contacted and claimed to have the money and said he’d pay by the end of the day.

REPORT OF HARASSMENT: City – the reporting party claimed her daughter was being harassed by another student.  A report was completed.

REPORT OF A MEDICAL CALL: City – deputies responded to assist with a medical call.  It appeared the subject had been involved in an altercation with a male with whom she dates.  The male was identified as 27 year old Daniel Dadeppo, of Ely.  During the investigation, Dadeppo refused to follow lawful orders from the deputies and was arrested.  During his arrest, Dadeppo resisted.  A report will be submitted to the DA’s Office involving the domestic battery information.

OCTOBER 25

REPORT OF A FIGHT: City – the report was unfounded.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: City – upon deputies arriving, they determined 38 year old Ely resident Teri Herrera, of Ely, used force against a person with whom she was in a dating relationship.  Herrera was arrested without incident.

REPORT OF A PROTECTION ORDER VIOLATION: City – the reporting party believed the adverse party of a protection order had committed a violation by contacting her.  The investigation continues.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT: City – the subject was contacted and claimed he was making good on money owed to various people in the area.

REPORT OF GRAFFITI: City – the vandalism was documented.

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City – 28 year old Ely resident Nikole Richardson was arrested for an outstanding warrant.  During her arrest, she was found to be in possession of a controlled substance, which she tried to give to a family member.

REPORT OF A PRIVATE PROPERTY ACCIDENT: City – while responding to assist another deputy, the driver of a red vehicle backed into a patrol vehicle being operated by Deputy George Head.  The accident investigation was conducted by NHP.

REPORT OF A JUVENILE PROBLEM: City – the reporting party claimed a neighbor child had struck one of her children with a rock.  The parent was contacted and he said he’d handle the situation.

OCTOBER 26

REPORT OF AN ARREST: City – 23 year old Ruth resident Levi Winsryg was arrested for driving under the influence after being stopped for a traffic violation.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT: City – a male subject was loitering and refusing to pay his bill at a local restaurant.  The subject was trespassed from the property.

REPORT OF A THEFT: City – the reporting party discovered someone stole the license plate from his vehicle.  A report was completed.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISPUTE: City – the parties were contacted and were only arguing.  They agreed to separate for the evening.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT: City – the reporting party complained about a subject making excessive noise.  When the deputies arrived, they discovered 49 year old Jon Grant, of McGill, leaving the area.  Contact was made with Grant and he was later arrested for driving under the influence.

REPORT OF SUSPICIOUS SUBJECTS: City – the area was checked and no one was located.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE:  City – the driver had pulled over to use his phone.

REPORT OF AN INTOXICATED DRIVER: The vehicle was located parked and unoccupied.

REPORT OF AN INTOXICATED DRIVER: The vehicle was located and the driver showed no signs of impairment.

REPORT OF AN ACCIDENT: Arthur Oden, of Nevada, lost control of his vehicle on a dirt road, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway.  A report was completed.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK: City – the subject was contacted and appeared okay.

REPORT OF AN INTOXICATED DRIVER: City – the vehicle was not located.

REPORT OF A TRESPASSER: The reporting party claimed someone was trespassing on his property.  The area was checked, but no one was located.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: City – the vehicle was properly parked an unoccupied.

REPORT OF A RECKLESS DRIVER: The vehicle was gone upon arrival.

REPORT OF A POSSIBLE FIGHT: City – no fight was located.
