Now Hiring: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

White Pine Care Center is looking for a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. We have full-time and part-time openings available. The LPN is an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for providing direct care and supervising CNAs and other support staff.

Key Responsibilities:
•Gather data on residents upon admission, quarterly, and when a change in condition occurs.
•Note and carry out all physician’s orders in a timely manner.
•Administer medications per MD order and clarify orders when necessary.
•Supervise CNAs and delegate in a manner that contributes to the excellence of the nursing unit.
•Implement and update the plan of care for residents based on assessments and goals.
•Count narcotics at the beginning and end of each shift with another nurse.

Qualifications:
•Must have an active Licensed Practical Nurse license through the Nevada State Board of Nursing or a temporary license.
•Must have an active and valid BLS Provider’s CPR Card before the start of a shift.
•Must possess a genuine interest and concern for geriatrics and disabled people.
•Knowledge of the LPN scope of practice for the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
