Advertising Sales Representative Wanted

Are you a dynamic and motivated sales professional ready to make a significant impact in rural Nevada? Nevada Central Media is looking for an Advertising Sales Professional to represent our company and secure advertising reservations for two community newspapers serving Eureka and White Pine Counties.

The ideal candidate has the confidence and desire to build meaningful, long-term relationships with local businesses and organizations, connecting them with advertising solutions that meet their needs. This role is the right fit for someone who passionately believes in the importance of community journalism and its reciprocal relationship with local commerce. The right candidate seeks to be a key advocate for the local economy and is unapologetic about the important role of local journalism and the need for local businesses to support our mission through advertising.

What We’re Looking For:

 * A proven track record of representing organizations with class and professionalism.

 * Exceptional interpersonal and sales skills—a true closer with integrity and love for people and community.

 * Someone ready to hit the ground running, making immediate contacts, setting in-person appointments, and closing sales within weeks.

 * An individual who thrives in a sales environment with no cap on earning potential.

The Opportunity:

This position offers a generous commission structure on both initial and recurring ad placements. Your compensation will build up over time as you establish a consistent client base. We anticipate this providing a solid income for the successful representative.

This position is designed for the no-nonsense representative who wants to work in an environment that directly rewards success.

Your Impact:

As our Advertising Sales Representative, you will play a key role in strengthening local communities by building a revenue stream that allows us to expand our news team and create more local journalism jobs.

If you are ready to work with a community news company with big aspirations, we want to hear from you. Email your resume and letter of interest to Ben Rowley, Publisher, [email protected].
