Bo Gleave, age 46, of McGill, Nevada, passed away unexpectedly at his home July 22, 2026.
He was born April 26, 1980, in Ely, Nevada, to Neil Gleave and Jane Henriod. He grew up in the Ely and McGill area and graduated from Ely High School in 1998.
Athletics were an important part of Bo’s high school years. He was the quarterback for his football team throughout all four years of high school and also played baseball and basketball. Bo loved sports, but more importantly, he enjoyed the friendships, camaraderie, and sense of being part of a team.
After graduating from high school, Bo attended Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah, for one year. He later spent many of his early adult years in St. George, Utah, where he worked hard and dedicated himself to his job at a car dealership. During the years he divided his time between St. George and McGill, Bo also worked for DISH.
One of the greatest blessings in Bo’s life came in 2002 with the birth of his daughter, Nevaeh Gleave. Being her father was an important part of his life, and she will forever carry a piece of him with her.
Later in life, Bo made the decision to return to his roots in McGill. There was something special about being back home, surrounded by familiar places and the Nevada landscape he knew so well. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers out to the creeks, fishing and spending time outdoors.
Bo will be remembered for his kind heart, loyalty, and great personality. He had a way of connecting with people and leaves behind memories that will be treasured by his family and those who knew and loved him.
Bo is survived by his father, Neil Gleave of McGill; his daughter, Nevaeh Gleave of Utah; his uncle and aunt, Russel and Debbie Gleave of McGill; his aunt and uncle, Barbara and Richard Garcia of Elko; his aunt and uncle, Diana and Paul Terry of Mesquite; and many cousins and extended family members who will truly miss him.
Bo was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Henriod; his grandparents, Vernile and Madiline Gleave; his uncle and aunt, Clark and Rosilee Gleave; and his cousin, Debbie Griffith.
Bo’s life ended far too soon, but the memories he created, the friendships he made, and the love he shared with his family will remain. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all those whose lives he touched.
“Rest in peace, Bo. You will always be loved, always be remembered, and forever be missed.”
